Bike Course 90k

The Ocean & Lava bike course is one of uniqueness, beautiful, with volcanoes and riding through the wine area La Geria and a few heavy climbs you come through the town of Yaiza and ride around El Golfo, you then come to Las Breñas before you reach the biggest challenge of the day: Femes with a climb of more than 20% on the steepest area just before the top, there is only one reason you should be stepping off your bike before finishing – walking is legal especially on this steep climb of Femes.

You then soon come to the National Park Timanfaya that is a story on itself, you must ride it to understand it, how the changing colours on the volcanoes are making this area so unique and beautiful.
This is sure to become a memorable bike course.

The run is a three loop course and after the transition you run out to the turnpoint at Playa Matagorda near the airport and back; you do this twice. Playa Los Pocillos just after the best Ice cream shop on the Island and before the Sea Side Hotel Jameos del Agua back; you do this x 3.
