2. HED 2011 TABLE OF CONTENTS The 2011 line of Hed products represents our finest technical and ARDENNES FLAMME ROUGE 4 ARDENNES SL / ARDENNES LT 6 performance achievements. One look and you will notice we have ARDENNES CL / ARDENNES GP 8 SCORPIO FLAMME ROUGE 12 upgraded most of the hubs in our wheels. 3. ARDENNES FLAMME ROUGE In late 2007 our Ardennes C2 wheels slipped into the cycling world almost unnoticed. Not only have they been noticed, they’re the life of the party. 7. SCORPIO FLAMME ROUGE Scorpios weigh a mere 1185g and have amazing stiffness for climbing efficiency. This wheelset combines Hed’s vaunted aerodynamics for eye-watering speed on the flats, and SCT (Stability Control Technology) tuning for excellent handling on descents and crosswinds. Despite this being a climb specific wheel set we are rather proud of it’s aerodynamics. Through many refinements we are able to produce a 33mm deep wheel that outperforms our competitor’s wheels that are up to 90mm deep! Our Corsair full aero bar is our lightest and stiffest offering to date (585g including brake levers). New for 2011 we offer the Corsair base bar compatible with Shimano’s Di2 shift/brake levers.
