El Club Triatlon Oviedo organiza el I Duatlon Cross La Morgal el día 16 de febrero.
La Morgal es un Centro Deportivo del Principado de Asturias situado en el concejo de Llanera y casi en el centro geográfico de la región. Queda a 10 minutos de Oviedo y 15 de Gijón y Avilés.
Todo el recorrido se desarrolla sobre hierba y hemos diseñado los circuitos para que el espectador vea el 80% de la carrera sin tener que moverse más de 50 metros. El circuito de carrera a pie tiene una longitud de 1,5 kms, a los que habrá que dar 4 vueltas en la primera parte y 2 después de la btt.
Su característica principal son dos largas rectas, una parte de curvas y contracurvas y una zona con un pequeño montículo que le añade cierto grado de dificultad. La altimetría es totalmente llana, salvo unos metros que corresponden a la elevación del montículo. Todo el terreno es de hierba, por lo que lo que se pueden utilizar zapatillas de clavos sin ningún problema.
El segmento ciclista es totalmente llano. Tiene dos largas rectas y una zona técnica, de aproximadamente 1 km, donde la dificultad vendrá dada por una serie de curvas y contracurvas, así como el salto de dos obstáculos artificiales. Todo el recorrido transcurre sobre hierba.

Hoy tocaba correr bajo cero por la capital, pero esperè hasta la 1 y cuarto para salir y que pasara el grueso de la tormenta.
Me vestì para la ocasiòn, de abajo a arriba, zapatillas deportivas del lidl, calcetines de media caña, calzas deportivas , camiseta tècnica de manga larga adidas ( pero contentas )maillot rojo de manga corta para llevar atràs el mòvil y las llaves, chubasquero transparente con velcro vertical al frente, guantes polares rojos pañuelo buff azul a la cabeza y gafas ligeras de sol
para la nieve ( si caìa ) y el sol (si salìa).
La idea era llegar al parque de la dehesa de la villa y bajar hasta la carretera del pardo por el enlace . Luego a volver paralelos a la carretera dela coruña hasta la subida hacia el museo de amèrica y por el parque del canal bajar por cristobal bordiu a casa . Lo que paso es que acabè rozado y escocido por no poner vaselina donde debìa , sì ahì !
