The road to mont blanc non stop 4 aug 2014



The high mountains are a mysterious and unpredictable place offering a moment of escapism to experience life amidst a journey of new and unknown limits. On August 4th 2014 Mavic ambassador Mike Cotty will attempt his longest exploration to date - a 1,000km non-stop crossing of the Dolomites, Eastern Alps and Swiss Alps with 21 climbs and over 23,000 metres of elevation. Follow Mike and his support team live throughout the challenge and join the adventure using #Road2MtBlanc.

Mike Cotty has done it, he has completed his non-stop journey totalling 1012 Kilometers over 21 climbs taking him 53hrs 38m. During this time he put his body and bike to the ultimate tests of endurance battling a night of storms, descending 5km of cobbles on the Gotthard Pass and 125km of block headwind through the last valley, all aboard his 2014 EVO Hi-Mod. Congratulations Mike!

BUFF EPIC TRAIL AIGÜES TORTES 2014: CRÓNICA, RESULTADOS Y FOTOS CAMPEONES IKER KARRRERA (13H41) Y NURIA PICAS (16H40)
La primera BUFF Epic Trail ha honrado su nombre: Recorrido tan bello como duro, completado bajo una meteo áspera, con Nuria Picas e Iker Karrera como campeones y tan solo 17 finalistas en meta. Iker ganó en 13h41. Le siguieron Jessed Hernández en 14h08 y Pau Bartoló en 15h08. En mujeres, Nuria Picas cruzó meta al fin tras 16h40 de carrera, como sexta de la general. A destacar que tanto Pau como Nuria venían de correr UTCatllarás el fin de semana anterior.
