Expanded, better value machines from Cannondale in 2015

Cannondale's 2015 road range is expanding across the board, generally offering more bike for less money and incorporating many disc models with both mechanical and hydraulic braking systems.

Pricing for the US and Australia is yet to be confirmed, but in the UK road bikes begin at £599.99 with the alloy, Shimano Claris-equipped CAAD8 (it's £999.99 with 11-speed 105). There’s a welcome return for the CAAD10 Track; the CAAD10 range then stretches from the £1,299.99 CAAD10 105 to the £1,799.99 CAAD10 SRAM Rival Disc.

The Supersix Evo carbon series ranges from £1,499.99 for a Shimano 105 model to £3,099.99 for the Ultegra Di2 machine. The £2,600 high modulus Supersix Evo frame is at the heart of four models beginning at £3,499.99 with mechanical Dura-Ace, up to £5,499.99 with SRAM Red, and topping out with the Supersix Evo Nano Black Inc at £6,999.99.

Endurance Road Synapse models begin at £599.99 in alloy with Shimano Claris, with the carbon Synapse stretching across five models between £1,499.99 and £3,499.99, plus three Hi Mod versions – all with discs – from £3,599.99 to the Black Inc Di2 Disc at £6,499.99.

Top of the tree is the Synapse HM Black Inc Di2 Disc, with Cannondale's lightest high modulus carbon frame, Shimano Dura Ace Di2 with hydraulic discs, Vision Metron 40 Disc carbon clinchers and Cannondale HollowGram SiSL2 crank with SpideRing, all for the lofty price of £6499.99

The Slice RS time trial machine won’t be offered in the UK for 2015, but the Slice range extends to five bikes priced from £1,999.99 to £7,499.99 (for Shimano 105 and Di2 Aero equipped models respectively).

There are no rim brake cyclo-cross offerings for 2015, with all five bikes having disc brakes. Four CAADX alloy bikes run from the £799.99 CAADX Sora Disc to the £899.99 Tiagra Disc and £999.99 105 disc, finishing with the hydraulic CAADX SRAM Rival Disc model. The carbon Super X tops the range with two complete bikes, the £1,999.99 SRAM Rival Disc, with 22 gears, and the £2,499.99 Super X Carbon SRAM CX1 Disc, with SRAM’s 1x11 cyclo-cross-specific drivetrain.

Back for 2015, the carbon SuperX is offered in two models, starting with this SRAM Rival 22 HRD equipped bike, that has Maddux CX 2.0 Disc wheels and an FSA Gossamer Cross chainset for £1999.99
