Los radares no saltan hasta que se supera en 7 km/h dicho límite. Es decir, en las carreteras en las que se permite circular a 50, el radar no salta hasta los 58 km/h. Para las vías a 60, el límite entre la multa y la no multa es 68 Km/h. Igual para los 70 (a 78km/h), 80 (88km/h), 90 (98 km/h) y 100 (108 km/h).

Sin embargo, la ecuación varía para las carreteras (normalmente autovías y autopistas) que están limitadas a velocidades superiores a los 100 km/h. En este caso hay que aplicar una regla que consiste en añadir el 7% a lo que indique la señal para fijar los niveles.Para el límite de 110 la velocidad a partir de la cual saltan los radares está fijada en los 117,7 km/h.La velocidad máxima permitida en las autopistas y autovía españolas es de 120 km/h. Los radares dispuestos en estas vías están regulados para que salten exactamente cuando los vehículos sobrepasen los 128,4 km/h.

Brutal hit and run! (BBC roundabout Nottingham)
was hit right in the small of my back, I received a severe back injury and internal haemorrhaging from the impact. It took 4 months for me to recover from my injuries with a further month of physiotherapy to reach normality.
To this day I have no idea why the driver did this to me, there was no confrontation with any driver prior to the attack, I do not know the driver or the car. I was not riding my normal route at my normal time so I do not think this attack was planned. Just a senseless and brutal attack on a fellow human being…
Despite the evidence, the police and CPS failed to bring the driver in this savage attack to justice…
The driver is still out on UK roads.
The police say they do not have the funds to continue the investigation any further, they also said that more would have been done if I had been killed… so next time I will try to die from my injury’s and perhaps then a dangerous driver will be taken off the roads?
