Since we are new to Facebook, we were not quite sure what to expect from our post. We have received requests to post the video from this call. Some just didn't believe it was true, so we have attached a short video of this call.The first portion of the video is in slow-motion and shows the car traveling in the opposite direction; the second portion shows the officer trying to stop the car and then as he approaches the driver. Yes, it is true and it happened! DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!

Detenida por conducir con un árbol de 4 metros incrustado en el parachoques
No paso el test de alcoholemia y fue denunciada

Conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol es muy peligroso, podemos sufrir un accidente y de paso poner en peligro la vida de otros conductores y peatones. Por eso normalmente la policía suele efectuar controles de alcoholemia, cada año hay muchas muertes debido a la irresponsabilidad de algunos conductores que deciden coger el coche después de haber consumido bebidas alcohólicas.

El Departamento de Policía de Illinois, Estados Unidos, ha decidido compartir vía Facebook un vídeo para concienciar a todo el mundo de los peligros de conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol. En dicho vídeo los agentes interceptan un vehículo que tiene un árbol de unos 4 metros de altura incrustado en el frontal. La policía después de lograr detener el coche se da cuenta que la mujer iba conduciendo con el airbag desplegado, al parecer le saltó después de chocar contra árbol.

Una vez inmovilizaron el vehículo los agentes procedieron a llevar a cabo el test de alcoholemia. Mary Ann Christy, de 54 años dio positivo. Finalmente Mary fue denunciada y el próximo 15 de abril debe acudir al juzgado. El Departamento de Policía aprovechó la publicación del vídeo en Facebook para decir: “¡Otra razón por la que no debes beber y conducir!
