¡vente al infierno! balaguer/murren schilthorn


El http://www.Pedala.cat organizará, al mismo tiempo que el half, el primer triatlón Inferno que se celebra en el Sur de Europa: I Triatló Infern Balaguer.

La cita será el 16 de junio y el Infern se iniciará 2 horas antes que el half con la natación en el mismo circuito del pantà de Sant Llorenç, luego los triatletas cogeran las bicis de montaña para hacer el circuito del Triatló de Muntanya de Balaguer para llegar al box de Balaguer y coger la bici de carretera y empalmar con los triatletas que estaran disputando el half. En ese momento tanto el half como el Infern seguiran el mismo circuito de bici al unísono para terminar en Balaguer con la media maratón urbana.

Infern: nat (1.9) + btt (28 + cabra (90)+ carrera (21) Apto sólo para valientes.

La inscripción será la misma que la del half aunque el triatleta tendrá que avisarnos con un mail su intención de disputar el Infern (club@pedala.cat)
Tanto para el half como para el infern, el período de inscripción se abriran el 15 de enero a través de la web de la Federació Catalana de Triatló.

Mountain Bike:
Grindelwald (943) - Kleine Scheidegg (2061) - Wengen (1275) - Lauterbrunnen (795) - Stechelberg (862).Distance 30 km, slope 1180 m.

Fell Running:
Stechelberg (862) - Lauterbrunnen (795) - Mürren (1640) - Schilthorn (2970).
Distance 25 km, slope 2175 m.

Categories
HK (main category) 1993 - 1978
AK1 (Age group 1) 1977 - 1968
AK2 (Age group 2) 1967 - 1958
AK3 (Age group 3) 1957 and older


Separate ranking lists will be issued for men and women. If fewer than three competitors are classified per category, the competitors will be ranked in the next lowest age group.


Prizes
Prize mony for women and men each:

1. Rank CHF 1500.-
2. Rank CHF 1000.-
3. Rank CHF 750.-
4. Rank CHF 500.-
5. Rank CHF 250.-

Cash prizes will be awarded in accordance with the “overall classification”. If less than 10 participants are classified, the prize moneys for the 4th and 5th rank will not be pay off. If Tax will be deducted at source for participants from outside Switzerland.

The winners of each catergory will receive a souvenir prize.
All finishers will receive a INFERNO Triathlon-Finisher-T-Shirt. Participants who must stop the race because of the time limits/closing times will receive a INFERNO-T-Shirt.


Entry fee
CHF 420.- / EURO 336.- for registrations till 20 July 2011
CHF 470.- / EURO 376.- for registrations from 21 July until 12 August 2011

Included in the entry : 2x return trips Stechelberg – Schilthorn by Schilthorn aerial cableway, 2 x Pasta-Party on 19 and 20 August 2011 in Mürren, 2 bustransfers Stechelberg - Thun (to the start and after the run) on 20 August 2011.


Registrations
We accept your registration starting 21 February 2011.


Deregistrations
Cancellations on health grounds will be accepted on presentation of a doctor’s certificate. Refund of the entry fee will be liable to a CHF 50 / EURO 40 deduction for administration costs.


Competition rules
The INFERNO TRIATHLON is carried out in accordance with the Swiss Triathlon Federation (tri) rules under the supervision of the tri adjudicators. No slipstream running (drafting).

Since 2009 the Inferno Triathlon is licence required! You can buy a 1 day licence at the check-in!
The licence for a whole year can be ordered at Swiss Triathlon and allows you to start at every licence required run in Switzerland.


Doping is prohibited. The Swiss Olympic Association is authorized to carry out doping tests.


Competition regulations (extraxt)
The INFERNO Triathlon is held in Alpine and partially high-Alpine terrain. High demands are made on the personal responsibility of competitors.
The following competition regulations apply (extract):

The organizers may make changes to the course at any time.
Doctors and adjudicators deployed by the organizers may exclude competitors from the race if a health risk exists.
A wet suit (Neopren) is obligatory for the swimming discipline. Neopren gloves or socks may not be worn.
The cycle route is open to other traffic. It is imperative that road traffic regulations are observed.
The highest demands are made on equipment and materials. The organizers reserve the right to exclude from the competition athletes with inadequate or poorly maintained equipment (cycles and helmets).
