Specialized este año viene totalmente renovado, sus modelos de bicicletas ofrecen más opciones y entran en juego las 29ers.
Dentro de los modelos completamente nuevos dentro de la gama 2012, se encuentra la Specialized Status, será la bici que remplace la legendaria Big Hit, la Status se caracteriza por contar con una geometría totalmente enfocada al descenso, un cuadro de 200mm de suspensión trasera hecho de aluminio M4 y un tubo de dirección de 1,5 pulgadas. La gama estará formada por dos modelos: la Status I y la Status II.

La S-Works Stumpjumper FSR presentará por primera vez un cuadro hecho puramente de carbón y tendrá una versión de 29er. La S-Works es una alianza perfecta entre peso-rigidez y reocrrido. La Specialized S-works Stumpjumper FSR esta disponible en 26 pulgadas con 140 mm de recorrido y en 29 pulgadas con 130 mm de recorrido..
Otro modelo presentado es la nueva Specialized Camber Carbon 29er, la gran novedad del segmento trail de Specialized, con 110mm de recorrido tanto delante como atrás. La gama más alta esta destinada a los dos modelos de Carbon 29er con triangulo delantero de carbono y basculante en aluminio M5.
