We present the Throwable Panoramic Ball Camera which captures a full spherical panorama when thrown into the air. At the peak of its flight, which is determined using an accelerometer, a full panoramic image is captured by 36 mobile phone camera modules.

La bola que lo ve todo

Diseñada por el ingeniero alemán Jonas Pfeil, esta bola fabricada con una impresora 3D y 36 sensores de imagen de dos megapíxeles es capaz de capturar una imagen panorámica completa. Basta con lanzarla al aire y toma automáticamente una imagen al llegar al punto máximo de ascensión. El resultado se puede ver luego en el ordenador con un software específico. Una idea curiosa, aunque por ahora no está a la venta.
