Comienza su segunda edición en Estados Unidos con un enorme éxito en su divulgación de buenos habitos de vida
CNN Fit Nation, el primer reality con el triatlón como protagonista
La cadena estadounidense CNN ha puesto en funcionamiento la segunda edición de un reality televisivo que ha sido un éxito en su primera edición y que tiene al triatl´n como protagonista. Se trata del Fit Nation en la que se elije a 6 personas que buscan mejorar sus habitos de vida a través del deporte y la nutrición.
Los realities son objeto de múltiples críticas en Estados Unidos y cualquier país pero este ha sido todo lo contrario, ha aunado a todos a favor de su formato. Se trata de seleccionar a 6 personas que han estado alejadas del deporte toda su vida o que han tenido muy poco contacto, con sobrepeso y con una alimentación completamente desequilibrada. El requisito, además, es no haber participado nunca en un triatlón.
El objetivo de los seis seleccionados es entrenarse para participar en un triatlón olímpico en menos de seis meses, concretamente en el Triatlón de Malibu. Durante esos seis meses bajo un plan de entrenamiento y nutrición irán nutriendo blogs y programas de televisión con sus experiencias.
En Estados Unidos este programa ha recibido enormes parabienes por su carácter divulgativo en ayuda de aquellos que siguen hábitos poco recomendables y ha sido un ejemplo para muchas personas. De hecho, en la selección de los seis participantes que acaba el próximo 19 de diciembre se han recibido miles de solicitudes.

I was recently featured on CNN’s Fit Nation. I discuss my weight loss success and my past struggles. I keep missing the piece on CNN, so I’m not sure if the actual piece is longer than this clip. However, they were able to catch the essence of my story in 1 minute and 40 seconds.
