Cannondale News: Liquigas-Cannondale Kick Off 2011 Race Season with Team Presentation in Milan

Milan, Italy and Bethel, CT (January 10, 2011) - Liquigas Sports S.p.A and Cannondale, part of the Cycling Sports Group Division of Dorel Industries (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), are pleased to present the new 2011 Liquigas-Cannondale team at the Palazzo Cusani on Monday January 10th, 2011. Lead by Captains Ivan Basso and Vincenzo Nibali, Liquigas-Cannondale is coming into 2011 ready to race following a solid 2010 season, which included two Grand Tour titles, and numerous stage and jersey wins. Combining raw athletic talent with Cannondale innovation, the team will be riding Cannondale bikes, including the SuperSix Hi-MOD, Synapse and Slice as they again aim to dominate the ProTour calendar.

“Cannondale has significantly ramped up our investment in Liquigas this year and we’re very excited for the 2011 race season. For the 2011 race season, Liquigas-Cannondale will ride the SuperSix Hi-MOD for most races, the Slice Hi-MOD for individual and team time trials and the Synapse Hi-MOD for specific races like Paris-Roubaix where riders benefit from increased comfort.
