What's Wimbag?
Every year, 26 million bags get lost around the world. And what is even more disturbing, 1 million of them are never got back.
Wimbag keeps an eye on your luggage, so you don’t have to worry about it and just enjoy your trip. We can't guarantee you won't lose your luggage, but we can give you our word that you'll have it back as soon as possible.
Wimbag is a small device that allows you to keep track of your luggage at all times. Just place it inside your bag before closing it, and you will be able to see its exact location in real time. You will also receive helpful alerts on your phone if your suitcase gets away from you, in case of unauthorized opening, or if your bag arrives at the wrong airport.
Wimbag power comes from a 1000mAh battery that allows the tracker to keep working continuously for about 5 days, which should be enough to have your luggage back in most cases. Besides, the charging port is a typical micro USB port, so you can use your phone power adapter or the included USB cable to charge it from your PC.
What happens if you lose your bag? Ok, it's better for all of us if nobody loses anything ;-) However, we are currently working hard to achieve agreements with the main airlines, in case it unfortunately happens. With Wimbag you can directly manage your baggage recovery from your own smartphone, without any annoying delay in your trip.
