When Operation Repo first appeared on TruTV I was an instant fan. I admit, I loved it. Then I realized that it is all fake. Don't believe me? Need proof? Here... they expose themselves in every show. They have a disclaimer in the beginning of every show that reads

"Based on real events"

That is the proof that the show re-enacts those "real" stories. When I realized this it was an instant turnoff. Not only that the godawful acting on the show should be another dead give-away. Another thing, if it was real how could they change the names of the "characters"? If they show up asking to tow "fake name's" car, wouldn't the people be like who is that? Yet more proof it is not real. I am not saying the "stories" didn't really happen, but Operation Repo is completely scripted.

Just recently I discovered yet another TruTV show called Lizard Lick Towing. It actually looked real since there is actual violence unlike the shoving only crap they have on operation repo. Things were broken, people were punched and I thought to myself okay finally a real repo show. That is until once again I realized it was fake as well.

I was watching an episode where one of the repo men was attacked by group of guys and the paramedics were called. The guy who attacked the man was not arrested. In fact I did not see a cop in sight. Then "the next day" the man who attacked the repo man showed up at the office with a group of people and begin destroying cars. Again the police are not called. Eventually after a confrontation the cops are called and they show them pulling up to the office on camera. Once the man is told they were outside he started to calm down and said he was on probation and to send the police away. The repo man tells his assistant to call the police and tell them it was a fake call. Then with ZERO interaction from the police it shows them drive away.

Really? And we are supposed to believe the police show up on a disturbance call and then drive away without assessing the situation on any level? Hell, they didn't even show them getting out of the squad car.

FAIL TRUTV.... FAIL.
